A device for controlling the dispensing of a beverage from a Mini Keg with the push button type dispenser.

A clip-on dispensing attachment for mini keg containers that have the push-button type dispenser. The frame of the invention clips onto the extended spigot of the mini keg then by pulling on the handle which presses the lever onto the top of the push in button in which results in the releasing of the liquids.The device consists of two components designed for 3D printing, but would also be suitable for injection moulding. The key to this invention is a unique frame that clips onto the existing spigot of the Mini Keg, with a gentle pull of a handle you will dispense your beer in an easier more natural and fun way.

The Background.
During the Covid 19 lockdown I purchased Mini Kegs of real ale, I found there are two types of Kegs one has a twist tap which is not suitable for use with this device, the other has a small red button to press to dispense your beer which was not a good beer pouring experience. I searched the internet to find a solution but could only find expensive options that involve mounting a tap on the top and pressurising the keg. I decided then, to design and make something myself. After several designs and several kegs (for research and development purposes) I have come up with this simple device that clips onto the existing spigot and gives a real beer “pulling” feel for that well-earned pint.
